The Living Word Holy Church, Inc. (LWHC) History

Living Word Holy Church (LWHC) began in October 1990, born from a divine vision in the hearts of Pastors Samuel E. and Brenda K. Beasley. Starting in a modest, rented wooden structure on Vickie Street in Pensacola, Florida, the Beasleys, along with their four daughters, poured their efforts into transforming the space into an excellent place of worship. Despite humble beginnings with only a few initial members, their unwavering faithfulness and dedication quickly led to significant growth. The church soon became a beautiful representation of unity, embracing a multicultural congregation where people of all backgrounds worshipped together.

As the ministry flourished, LWHC quickly outgrew its initial home. Over the next few years, the church moved to larger rented facilities on Old Palafox Highway and then to Pensacola Boulevard. These transitions were met with great faith and continued expansion, allowing for the formal establishment of key ministries, including the Ministerial staff, Deacons, and Mothers, alongside various auxiliaries like Women of Word, Ushers, and Youth ministry. By 1999, after seven years of impactful ministry at the Pensacola Boulevard location, God's grace once again prompted a move, this time to acquire a permanent home.

Demonstrating remarkable faith and stewardship, LWHC purchased 12 acres of land in the same vicinity, paying it off in a swift 18 months. The Church held a groundbreaking ceremony in 1998, and by 1999, a newly completed edifice, the first multi-purpose facility, was established on the campus of LWHC. In April 2000, The LWHC Learning Center opened its doors under the direction of Co-Pastor Brenda K. Beasley, proving to be a tremendous evangelistic tool. LWHC continued to grow and preach the Kingdom of God, and in 2004, Senior Pastor S.E. Beasley acknowledged the call of God on his life to the Apostleship, leading the flock in the five-fold ministry. We acknowledge that it is God’s desire for His people to bring their gifts, talents and callings to the Kingdom, to further Kingdom Building until His return.
